My first toy, all steel body 1966 Mustang. |
A re-body and chassis up-date. |
| |
| |
Equals a winning car, but it was always going to be just a stinkin ford. |
So I bought a Chevy, we gave her a new body and engine, still an A-grade though. |

So stepped up to Supers with this Pontiac purchased off Donald Gregory. |
She soon started to look a bit bent. |

So new season, and another rebuild. |
But that just was not my season. |

Who put that wall in the way? |

Never mind had this new girl at home in the shed. |

Our first Lovelady chassis, was very impressed with John's workmanship. |
Don't think John was impressed with my driving though. |

Headed up to the opening of the new Bay Park Stadium. |
As luck would have it, we were the very first car thru the pit gate onto the track, awesome! |
| |

Ran this car for two seasons with the best result being 3rd in the South Island Champs at Blenheim. |
Had this all new Corvette built by John Lovelady and finished by Josh and myself. |

For some reason, when North Island drivers come to visit Supers become a contact grade. Must be the keen rivalry. |
But of course the Mainland always wins! |
